I grew up in the township of Ord located in the Sleat peninsula on the Isle of Skye. My family have always been animal daft…. we always had at least 5 border collies (most of which were rescues) all at one time running around the house throughout all of my childhood! We also had guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, geese & chickens too.

Growing up in that kind of environment has no doubt been a massive factor into what I've chosen to pursue my career in.... working with animals! I now also have my own border collie, 3 guinea pigs and 2 horses to call my own.

I had always dreamed of working with horses all of my life, so when I finished High School I went off to study an HNC Equine Business Management course which I received Student of the Year Award and an A grade. Soon after returning from college I was recruited to join the team at Aird Boarding Kennels & Cattery (2019 -2025) in South Skye. I have also worked at our local vets in Broadford (Old School Vet Practice) since 2023 - 2026.

L.R.M Pet Services started up in January 2024, while I was still working at the kennels and the vets. I was looking after so many friends' pets at the time that it just made sense to give my dream a go of running my own business working with animals... and now I am so grateful that I've been so busy with L.R.M Pet Services that I can run it full-time as my only job!
